In November 1878, Sister Mary Ann Sammon and a few Dominican Sisters
transported nine little girls under their care, to a residence far

The religious beliefs of children in placement are safeguarded
by the enrollment in religious education programs and by the attendance
of religious services of each child's particular religious persuasion.
Saint Dominic's home believes that all children have a right to
parental care. In cases where the biological parents are unable
to assume the general and psychological care of the child, we are
strongly supportive of secondary parenting through well-planned
adoption.
