For Saint Dominic’s Home Family Foster Care staff nothing puts smiles on more faces than when an adoption is finalized, and in April those smiles were as frequent as April showers. Saint Dominic’s Home helped finalize a record 14 adoptions in April and marked the culmination of three years of efforts on the part of the Family Foster Care and Adoption staff members.
care for 10 years, having been unsuccessfully trial discharged to their birth mother twice before being adopted by their foster mother. They finally obtained permanency with their foster mother with an agreement for visitation with birth parents. Five of the children were adopted by their grandparents and will remain within their family of origin.
