CASE AIDE, RE#-B03-175-044-111
FFC Program - Bronx
The Case Aide provides a variety of non-professional services to the Foster Boarding Home program and its units. The Case Aide does both field work and clerical tasks, dependent on the needs of the program and its units. He/she provides switchboard and reception coverage as scheduled by the Supervisor of Case Aides and Support Services, as well as assists workers and supervisors with client-related contacts. While the Case Aide reports to the Supervisor of Case Aides and Support Services, he/she will assist a specific Supervisor or Administrative Supervisor when not assigned to tasks at a particular time.

The Foster Care Caseworker provides casework services to children and adolescents in care and to their biological families to determine and achieve the goal of permanency. He/she does this through ongoing case assessment as well as use of evidence-based models to engage parents and enable change.

The Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Individualized Care Coordinators. The Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the coordination of training, evaluating, and assigning of staff. The Supervisor is also responsible to assist in program presentations in the Bronx and participate in the Single Point of Access process in the Bronx.

The Waiver Service Worker supports the Families First Program by:

INTENSIVE IN HOME WORKER, RE-B03-255-103-310 (5)
CBS - Bronx Waiver Program
The Intensive-In Home and Crisis Response Worker provides ongoing intensive interventions aimed at de-escalating and educating the family in order to maintain family stability. The Intensive-In Home Worker works with the family based on time-limited goals based on the presenting crisis. Interventions used can be: psycho-education, crisis-de-escalation, parent-child relationship building, and improvement of parenting skills. The Intensive-In Home worker is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Position requires travel and travel time is included in the hourly pay rate.

Must have a Master’s degree in the human service field with two years working directly with SED children. Or a Bachelor’s degree in the human service field or a NYS Teacher’s Certificate and four years experience in working directly with SED children. Must be affiliated with an OMH-certified provider. Have training in mental health diagnoses (DSM-IV), suicide assessment, psychopharmacology, crisis intervention techniques, and available community resources or approved alternatives.
