How do I apply for a job?

I applied on line. How long does it take to be contacted after I apply?
You will receive an automated acknowledgement upon completing the on line process. One of our Human Resource Recruiters will contact you if your qualifications meet the job requirements.
Are there positions not listed on the website?
No, all of our jobs are posted on the website.
Is there flexibility with the work schedule?
We are a 24 hour facility that offers a variety of different schedules including full time, part time and on call.
Where are some of your job locations?
We have locations in the Bronx, Rockland County, and in Goshen, which is located in Orange County. For more specific locations please check out our programs on the home page.
Is there room for growth?
Yes, positions are posted internally as soon as they become available and you will have the opportunity to apply should you meet the qualifications
Do you offer training?
Yes, we have a training department that provides extensive training according to the program and position. All employees attend new hire orientation.

When do I qualify for Benefits?
You qualify for benefits on the first day after three full months of employ-ment, but only if you work an actual schedule of 20 or more hours.
Does Saint Dominic’s Home provide tuition reimbursement?
Yes. In order to qualify, you must work at Saint Dominic’s Home on a full time basis for a minimum of one year.
What happens if I refer a friend?
If we hire a candidate who has been referred by a Saint Dominic’s Home employee, the new hire must be in good standing with the Agency for a minimum of six months. Once this initial time has passed, the referring employee is eligible to receive a monetary reward for the referral. |
