COORDINATOR OF FOSTER PARENT RECRUITMENT AND SUPPORT

Initiates recruitment for FBH prog, incl develmnt & preparation of recruitment material. Ensure prog maintains sufficient # of foster home beds to meet placement needs identified by the contract w/ NYC & monitors & reports on recruitment goals. Oversee FP support svcs. Will be a Fam Team Conf facilitator, facilitating large numbers of conferences each month. MSW or alternate Masters req'd as well as at least 3 yrs exper in child welfare field.

FOSTER BOARDING HOME HOMEFINDING UNIT
Resp for the recruitment, screening, training, assessment and certif of all foster care applicants incl reg, kinship, TFBH and Respite. Maintains all foster care licenses & approvals, through annual recertifications and documentation, and provides regular & ongoing training for new and existing FP's. Recruitment of all foster care applicants through commun events, speaking engagements, and other planned strategic events, maintains all foster home records, including medicals, SCR and criminal history checks. Must locate replacement homes for foster children in need of homes as necessary. BSW req'd or BA in related field.
