- 132-year-old $50 million nonprofit social welfare Catholic agency headquartered in Blauvelt, N.Y.
- Founded in 1878 by Mother Mary Ann Sammon and the Dominican Sisters as a home (orphanage) for abandoned children in New York City. (No longer operates a home)
