Saint Dominic’s Home is proud to be one of only nine agencies chosen to pilot the Improved Outcomes for Children Initiative, an innovative program designed to provide the highest possible level of services to the children and families we serve. 

The Family Foster Care Program was pleased to be a part of this initiative, which has redefined the role of public and private agencies, and which relies on the committed participation of our birth parents, foster parents, children and other stakeholders to ensure that the needs of the children are the driving force behind all of our efforts.

The Family Foster Care program has received a well-deserved reputation as one of the finest foster care agencies in New York City. The program provides a variety of services to help its clients. In addition to traditional case management, we employ specialized staff to provide Foster Parent Support, Educational Advocacy, and many other services as well as adoption services.

The Family Foster Care program provides extensive training to its staff and foster parents in order to provide high quality care for the children who have been placed with us. These children, who often have been neglected, abused, or abandoned, can be challenging and difficult, but the rewards of working with them are great.  We take great pride in our work with them, and in our unwavering commitment to their success.
