the separate 501(c)(3) organization supporting the work of Saint
Dominic's Home.

APPRECIATED SECURITIES
When you donate securities that you have owned 12 months or more
(long term), you are entitled to an income tax deduction for the
fair market value, and you also avoid the incurring capital gains
on the appreciation.
BEQUESTS
Bequests by Will often provide our donors with an opportunity to
make the substantial gift that one would like to make, but are unable
to make during one's lifetime. We suggest that a gift by bequest
be made for the general purposes of Saint Dominic's, in order to
allow us to use it where the greatest need exists. Following is
a suggested wording for a bequest in your Will or by codicil to
your Will.
"I give to the Friends of Saint Dominic's, Inc., 500 Western
Highway Blauvelt, New York 10913, (state sum of money or percentage
of estate or otherwise describe securities or property) to be
used for its general purposes."
If you wish to designate your gift for Endowment, the form should
be amended accordingly. We would be pleased to answer any questions
that you have about making a gift to Saint Dominic's, the opportunities
for memorial and endowment gifts, gifts by Trust or through life
insurance, and to discuss any thoughts that you may have on designating
your gift for a specific purpose.
