Individual Counseling is a based on a strength based approach that allows Consumers full participation and involvement in the decision making process.The aim is for Consumers to have every opportunity to meet their goals and objectives.
Community Engagement
All of our Consumers are encouraged to become a part of the local Community.They are encouraged and are offered opportunities to participate in the Community as volunteers, workers, students, and as good citizens. Members of the community are invited to join Consumers at a variety of social gatherings (picnics, cookouts, and holiday celebrations).
Support System
At Saint Dominic's Home we believe that all of the Consumers are in need
of a strong support system. We begin by addressing the immediate needs
of providing healthy food, superb housing, a safe environment and access to Therapautic/Medical and Dental Care and involvement in the Community
is integrated into the plan. |
