School – Meet the Teacher Night
Thursday, October 11th
The school will host its annual Meet the Teacher Night for
parents at 7:00 pm. A potluck supper and information session in
the school’s gym will follow classroom meetings. For more

Tuesday, October 16th
Students of Saint Dominic’s School will participate in a
walk-a-thon at 10:00 am on the Blauvelt campus. Parents are

Medical and Mental Health Department – Psychiatric Grand
Rounds
Wednesday, October 24th
Free psychiatric education on childhood syndromes of
disruption will be provided to mental health professionals in
Rockland County from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Blauvelt
Training Center of Saint Dominic’s Home, 500 Western Highway.

Saint Dominic’s 853 School – Thanksgiving Luncheon
Wednesday, November 21st
Students and staff of Saint Dominic’s School will hold their
annual Thanksgiving celebration in the gymnasium. The
traditional program will include student representatives from
grades K through 8th giving testimonials why they are thankful.

Students in grades K through 8 at Saint Dominic’s School
will hold their annual Science and Social Studies Fair in the
gymnasium at noon. The annual event will highlight individual

Friday, December 21st
Students, K through 8th grade, will hold their annual
holiday program in the gymnasium at 11:00 am. They will perform
seasonal music. Santa Claus will visit the younger children and
