Our Philosophy

Implicit in the placement of a child in our program is the understanding that the child is in need of a comprehensive program that can instruct, manage behavior, and ameliorate emotional distress at a level of intensity and consistency that is not possible within a less restrictive public school setting.

The philosophy of Saint Dominic's School is that external behavioral changes should evolve from internal changes, and that improvement on both these levels is a function of the total school therapeutic milieu.
