Clinical
Services - Mental Health services are provided at the Bronx Primary
Care Unit and also at approved community centers. Essentially, the
clinical staff provides the following functions:
- Clinical Evaluations: Psychological and Psychiatric
- Direct individual and group treatment
- Availability for clinical supervision
- Consultation for staff
The clinical staff is part of the inter-disciplinary services offered by the Agency.
The Health Services Department of Saint Dominic's Home provides
for the delivery, supervision and monitoring of medical care for the
foster care children and adolescents. Our physicians, nurses and health
educators are members of the Agency interdisciplinary teams.
The Pastoral Care Services at Saint Dominic's Home serves the spiritual and religious needs of consumers and families, providing one-to-one companionship and spiritual support. These services support the religious heritage and choices of those seeking pastoral care.
The Training Department at Saint Dominic's Home coordinates staff development throughout the Agency starting with an effective orientation program for each new employee. Further, the Department assists each program with the training needs of the staff providing a vehicle for their professional growth and the acquisition of the skills necessary toward fulfillment of the Mission of Saint Dominic's Home. |
