Saint Dominic's TORCH (To Reach Children) is a New York State Approved Bilingual Pre-school program that provides a full range of educational and clinical services to special education and non-disabled children, 2.7 to 5.0 years of age. TORCH provides a variety of services based on the individual needs of the child: Full day sessions; Integrated classes with non-disabled children; related services, including speech, counseling and occupational therapy; Six-week summer program; transportation for eligible children; breakfast, lunch and Parent workshops.

In January 2006, Saint Dominic’s Home Torch Program for pre-school children was awarded accreditation from NAEYC, the National Association for the Education of Young Children. NAEYC, the nation’s leading organization of early childhood professionals, accredited the program for five years. Only 8% of the nation’s early childhood programs have received this honor.
