Saint Dominic’s Home Employees Shine Annual Staff Appreciation Event Recognizes Retirees, Service Milestones & Exemplary Work
The applause was loud, the smiles were wide and the pride ran deep as Saint Dominic’s Home heralded its employees for their service milestones ranging from five to thirty-five years and for their dedicated, selfless giving and exemplary work at the agency’s Annual Staff Appreciation Event on May 26.
Human Resources Director Heather Waitman and Beverly Warwick, Assistant Director of Human Resources, coordinate the highly anticipated annual event at the Hilton Pearl River in which employees come together and, in a rare moment, shed their unsung hero status to be recognized by their agency, department heads and peers. Employees receiving colleague-nominated awards for their exceptional work and dedication include the following. “Going the Extra Mile” Award: Athena Milonas, Individualized Care Coordinator, and Salome McIntyre, Residence Counselor, Murphy Residence, DD. “A Caring Heart” Award: Eli-anie St. Preux, Housekeeper, McLean Residence, DD. “Star Performer” Award: Carolyn Pinilla, Billing Supervisor, Fiscal Department. “Making a Difference” Award: Intake Unit at Family Foster Care; Paul Nelson, Residence Counselor, McLean Residence; and Sylvia Phillips, Residence Manager, Leone, Cottage 1. “Leads by Example” Award: Jouliana Petranker, Residence Manager, Cox Residence.“Team Performance” Award: Intake Unit and Family Foster Care Department.
